Privacy policy

This policy explains how Godzown Trinity (“Arka House”, “we”) handles your personal data when you use arkahouse.com, in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

• Order details: your name, email, mobile number, delivery address and any gift note you write.
• Payment status: whether a payment succeeded and its reference. Card, UPI and bank details are handled by Razorpay and never reach or are stored by us.
• Enquiries and newsletter sign-ups: the details you choose to send.
• Basic technical data needed to keep the site secure, such as a one-way hash of your IP address used for rate limiting.

Why we use it

To process and deliver your order, provide customer support, prevent fraud and misuse, meet tax and legal obligations, and, only if you opt in, send you the batch letter.

Who we share it with

Only with the services needed to run the shop: our payment gateway (Razorpay), our hosting and database providers, our email provider and our delivery partners. We do not sell your data.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as Indian tax law requires. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Enquiries are deleted after 24 months.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or erase your personal data, or withdraw consent for marketing, by writing to privacy@arkahouse.com. Our grievance officer is Ajay Bellani, reachable at the same address.

Cookies and storage

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser stores your bag and recent order links locally on your device so the site works; this data stays on your device.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted to authorised staff using two-factor authentication, and every administrative change is logged.
